The controversial, American and Israeli-supported GHF aid organization says it is winding down its relief activities in the Palestinian territory, subsequent to approximately 180 days.

The organisation had earlier paused its several relief locations in Gaza following the halt in hostilities between Palestinian factions and Israel was implemented in recent weeks.

The GHF aimed to avoid UN systems as the main supplier of aid to Gaza's population.

United Nations organizations and other humanitarian groups refused to co-operate with its approach, stating it was improper and dangerous.

Numerous Gazans were fatally wounded while trying to acquire nourishment amid chaotic scenes near the foundation's locations, mostly by Israeli fire, as reported by United Nations.

Israel said its forces fired warning shots.
