Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Claims Involving Player Rashee Rice
The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening confirming they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations circulated in online accounts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver Rashee Rice and had been in communication with the league office.
The organization omitted the name of the player specifically in their announcement and noted they would have “no further comment at this time”.
Allegations Posted on Instagram
Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name the athlete directly, posted a set of images on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. She stated the person involved was the father of her children, and it is known she has two children with Rice, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.

No official complaints were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have taken place.
