The rising star maintains substantial online presence
Kai Trump can count on multiple well-known backers when she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous courses worldwide and often matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He practically suggested to play and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."
Kai will face several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Officials stated that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching the next generation.
Kai boasts millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
